GREENSBORO, NC – The Greensboro Gargoyles, proud ECHL affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes and the AHL's Chicago Wolves, are excited to announce their 2026-27 season promotional schedule. The upcoming promotional calendar features 24 special themes covering 34 of the 36 Gargoyles home games. The Gargoyles will wear 10 specialty jerseys throughout the season, in addition to their traditional purple, white, and black trio.

Opening Weekend - Friday and Saturday, October 16-17, at 7 PM
First Horizon Bank presents Greensboro Gargoyles Opening Night on Friday, October 16, at 7 PM, as the Gargoyles drop the puck on their second season in Gate City against the Reading Royals. The Opening Weekend celebration continues Saturday, October 17, at 7 PM for the second half of a back-to-back battle with Reading. Before the puck drops, fans can get the party started both nights at Fan Fest from 4:30–6:30 PM outside the main entrance, featuring live music, food, drinks, and more.

Wrestling Night - Saturday, October 24, at 7 PM
The Greensboro Gargoyles step into the ring with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Saturday, October 24, at 7 PM for Wrestling Night! Expect excitement from the opening bell to the final horn, with high-flying action, knockout celebrations, and plenty of mayhem worthy of the squared circle.

Howl-O-Ween - Sunday, October 25, at 3 PM.
Happy Howl-O-Ween! Lakeside Dental presents the season’s first Sunday Funday in furry and festive fashion, with our first Pucks and Paws game landing smack in the middle of spooky season. Dress up like your favorite Gargoyle, bring your pup pals, and enjoy a fall afternoon at the rink as the Gargoyles close out their weekend series with Greenville on Sunday, October 25, at 3 PM.

Wizard Weekend - Friday and Saturday, November 6, at 7 PM
Wave your wands, sip some tailgate potion, and cast your spells as Wizard Weekend enchants Gate City on Friday and Saturday, November 6–7! The Gargoyles will don specialty jerseys for both 7 PM puck drops, looking to fulfill the prophecy and sink Maine’s first voyage to Gate City.

I Love Greensboro Night - Thursday, November 12, at 7 PM
Bring your business card and show some love for Gate City on I Love Greensboro Night! The Gargoyles host the Worcester Railers on Thursday, November 12, at 7 PM, as we celebrate the small businesses, local leaders, and Greensboro Chamber of Commerce members who help our community thrive. Cancer Awareness - Saturday, November 14, at 7 PM
Cone Health presents Cancer Awareness Night on Saturday, November 14, as the Gargoyles host the Worcester Railers. Greensboro will take the ice in specialty Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys, which will be auctioned following the game. You’d be a turkey to miss this! The Gargoyles Gobble Wobble returns on Wednesday, November 25, at 7 PM as Greensboro hosts the Norfolk Admirals. Get ready for pie-eating contests, festive friends, and plenty of Thanksgiving fun as we celebrate the holiday with the fans we’re most thankful to call our own.

Teddy Bear Toss - Friday, December 18, at 7 PM
Bears are cleared for takeoff on Friday, December 18, as Teddy Bear Toss Night returns to First Horizon Coliseum! Help the Gargoyles break last season’s record and send a flurry of fluffy fun flying onto the ice, with all donations benefiting local charities and children in need this holiday season. Bring your bears and bring the holiday cheer as Greensboro hosts the South Carolina Stingrays at 7 PM.

Marvel Night - Saturday, December 26 at 7 PM
Doomsday may be in theaters, but the battle for the universe comes to First Horizon Coliseum on Saturday, December 26, at 7 PM! The Greensboro Gargoyles suit up in specialty Marvel jerseys to take on the Norfolk Admirals, with the fate of Gate City, and perhaps the entire universe, hanging in the balance.

Affiliation Weekend - Friday and Saturday, January 8-9, at 7 PM

The Gargoyles host the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Friday and Saturday, January 8–9, at 7 PM, wearing specialty affiliation jerseys. Monarchs Weekend - Friday and Saturday, January 22-23, at 7 PM
The Riley Cup Champions return to Gate City! The Gargoyles celebrate Greensboro’s hockey history during Monarchs Weekend on Friday and Saturday, January 22–23, against the Adirondack Thunder. Greensboro will debut a new set of specialty throwback jerseys, turning back the clock and bringing the championship spirit of the 1990s back to First Horizon Coliseum more than 30 years later.

Generals Weekend - Friday and Saturday, January 29-30, at 7 PM
There’s a new opponent in town, but a throwback name on the front of Greensboro’s jerseys as the Gargoyles host Generals Weekend against the Trenton Ironhawks on January 29–30. Gate City turns back the clock to celebrate the Generals and a name that spans generations of Greensboro hockey. The Gargoyles will take the ice in specialty throwback jerseys, honoring the city’s hockey history while writing the next chapter at First Horizon Coliseum.

Salute to Heroes - Sunday, January 31, at 3 PM
Lakeside Dental presents Salute to Heroes Night on Sunday, January 31, at 3 PM, as the Gargoyles host the Trenton Ironhawks. Greensboro will take the ice in specialty jerseys as we salute the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country and community. Greensboro will take the ice in specialty jerseys inspired by a menacing force from a galaxy far, far away. Health Care Appreciation Night - Friday, April 9, at 7 PM
Cone Health presents Health Care Appreciation Night on Friday, April 9, at 7 PM, as the Gargoyles host the Trenton Ironhawks. Bring your notebooks and pencils, because this lesson is all about having fun at the hockey game! The Greensboro Gargoyles host their School Day Games on Thursday, November 5 against the Maine Mariners and Thursday, April 8 against the Trenton Ironhawks. These 10:30 AM starts are perfect field trips and groups to get an up-close professional hockey experience.

Sunday Fundays - Presented by Lakeside Dental
Sundays are for family, fun, and Gargoyles hockey! Lakeside Dental presents Sunday Funday, featuring nine family-friendly afternoon games throughout the season at First Horizon Coliseum. The Gargoyles will take the ice in specialty Sunday Funday jerseys as families enjoy themed entertainment, activities, and plenty of fun for fans of all ages.
