Gargoyles Add Paquette and Price to 2026-27 Roster

GREENSBORO, NC – The Greensboro Gargoyles, proud ECHL affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes and the AHL's Chicago Wolves, announced today the signing of forward Tyler Paquette and defenseman Caleb Price to the 2026-27 roster on ECHL contracts.

Paquette, 25, was acquired from the Indy Fuel this summer following his rookie season. The five-year Penn State University alumnus appeared in 143 NCAA games, finishing his collegiate career with 48 points (27G-21A). With the Fuel, Paquette recorded 22 points (8G-14A) during his first professional season in 2025-26.

Price, 26, was signed in Greensboro on March 25, 2026 after playing the first 10 games of his professional career in Norfolk. The Hookset, NH native played 10 games in a Gargoyles jersey, recording an assist on April 11 against Worcester. Price appeared in 110 career NCAA games at Mercyhurst University, adding 31 points (7G, 24A).

The following players are signed to ECHL contracts for the 2026-27 season:

Forwards: Demetrios Koumontzis, Shane Ott, Thomas Freel, Tyler Cristall, Eric Martin, Ryan Hughes, Chase Lefebvre, Markus Oden, Casey Severo, Jaxson Murray, Tyler Paquette

Defensemen: Artyom Borshyov, Braden Doyle, Austen May, Cullen Ferguson, Oskars Briedis, Tristan De Jong, Caleb Price
